While I focus on making functional boats that may be used on rivers. streams, and lakes, I also make smaller model boats that function as artwork.
HAZELWOOD-FRAMED CANOE: This was made upon request by my lovely wife Susan and is on display in our living room.
SMALL HAZEL RIVER CURRACH (CORACLE): This was made for Richard Smith, a generous orchard owner who supplies me with hazel sticks. He has this on display in his home.
GREENLAND KAYAK SCALE MODEL: This kayak was made for display above a fireplace mantle in a small Oregon coastal town.
MINIATURE RIVER CURRACH (CORACLE): This was also made upon request by my lovely wife Susan and is on display in our dining room.
BOAT LANTERN: This unique project was inspired by a man who wanted a boat light to hang above the deck of his mountain cabin.
